About Wa3i
Under the Support of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, and as part of the National Initiative for Youth Development in cooperation with the Higher Council for Youth and the NGO Directorate, the International Federation of Medical Students Associations - Iraq (IFMSA-Iraq) proudly presents the national "Wa'ai" project. Bearing the slogan, "Youthful Minds, Empowering Future Generations" , this project is a response to the growing mental health crisis Iraqi high school students are facing.
The vision of "Wa'ai" is to empower Iraqi Secondary school students to thrive emotionally and mentally, enabling them to overcome challenges and build a healthier, more resilient future. Our mission is to provide students with the support, resources, and tools necessary to enhance their mental and emotional well-being. Through empathy, education, and empowerment, and in collaboration with key partners like WHO Iraq , we aim to foster a safe space where all students can flourish and achieve their full potential.
